Join the closed test
Deckrypt is ready to play, but Google Play opens a new game to everyone only after a closed test: at least 12 people with it installed for 14 days in a row. If you have an Android phone, you can be one of them in three steps.
What you need
- An Android phone with Google Play.
- The Google account you use in the Play Store. Use that same account in every step below.
- To keep the game installed for 14 days. Playing a few levels now and then is enough.
Three steps
-
Join the testers group. Open the group and tap Join group. The group is only the list of testers that Google Play reads: it sends no messages, and only I can see who is in it.
-
Become a tester. Open the test page and tap Become a tester. If it says the test isn't available, check that you joined the group with your Play Store account and try again a few minutes later.
-
Install the game. Open Deckrypt on Google Play and tap Install. Right after step 2 the listing can take a few minutes to show up for your account.
On a phone with more than one Google account, the browser may be signed in to a different one than the Play Store. If a step fails, open the link in the browser's account menu with your Play Store account, or do the steps on a computer signed in to it.
During the test
- Play whenever you like. Tell me what was confusing, what broke or what you enjoyed: write to [email protected], or use Send private feedback on the game's Play Store page.
- The game is free. Purchases inside it are optional and charged for real, so you don't need to buy anything to help.
- Updates come through the Play Store like any other app.
- You can leave at any time on the test page, but staying the full 14 days is what lets the game launch.
Thank you for helping.
